I’m 36 years old, married, living with two cats, and I’ve been deep into sim racing for as long as I can remember. I started at seven years old on the PS1 with Gran Turismo, TOCA, and Colin McRae Rally. My first real step into PC sim racing was **Live for Speed**, racing with mouse and keyboard until I quickly realized that to compete at the level I wanted, proper hardware wasn’t optional — it was mandatory.

From there, things escalated fast: a wheel for Need for Speed, then a Logitech G25, a Fanatec Porsche GT2, and eventually the early-generation OSW that later became known as Simucube 1. Today I’m running a Large-Mige OSW wheelbase, Cube Controls formula rim, Heusinkveld pedals and handbrake, a Fanatec sequential shifter, and a DSD button box, all mounted to a heavily modified Sim-Lab extrusion rig. My current Sim-Lab formula seat only exists because my old seat broke mid-stint during the Le Mans 24h — a memorable moment in itself.

I’ve been working in **IT for many years**, so naturally I’m drawn to the technical side of sim racing. I love tinkering, modifying, optimizing, and writing my own small scripts for button boxes and rig peripherals. CAD, 3D printing, and laser cutting are ongoing hobbies; I still have a 3D-printed dashboard concept floating around in my mind that I’ll eventually bring to life.

I’ve raced in VR since the Oculus Rift DK2 era — these days on the Pimax Crystal — and I honestly can’t imagine sim racing any other way. For me, VR is the closest you can get to real-world immersion.

I joined **Agee Motorsport in 2016** for Sebring and have been part of the team ever since. iRacing is my primary platform, GT3 my home class, and endurance racing is where I feel most comfortable. Being based in Austria, I often take the early-morning stints while others are still asleep. I never enter a race unprepared: I gather data, test setups, and make sure I’m racing at the peak of my capability. My driving style is aggressive but controlled — I like applying pressure until opponents crack.

Some of my most defining experiences came in endurance events like Petit Le Mans, where I ran a full push without collecting a single incident point. I also look back fondly on my time in DGFX, even if that elusive endurance win is still waiting for me.

Outside the rig, I stay active with fitness, DIY projects, CAD design, and my lifelong passion for motorsport. I follow Formula 1 closely — as an Austrian, that naturally means Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen. Still, a small part of me hopes Ferrari will someday return to championship glory… just preferably **not** with Hamilton.

Sebring remains my favorite race of the year, and endurance racing is where I feel most at home.
